pine creek crossing

As soon as I saw the Pine Creek Crossing fabric I knew that I had to have it for a quilt for my dad. My local Ben Franklin store had the jelly rolls in stock when I went there, so I picked up one of those and a couple of charm packs, still unsure what pattern I was going to use. At home I looked through a book I had recently purchased called "Jelly Roll Quilts" and decided upon using the Pandora's Box pattern from it. I wanted something soft for the backing, so I used flannel and I am really happy with the results.
I love several of the patterns from the "Jelly Roll Quilts" book and plan on making several more lap quilts using patterns from it including Bars of Gold, Sparkling Gemstones, Garden Trellis and Friendship Braid.
