A quilt for the church auction

I have had this material for years and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. I've also got white background material and 2 different fabrics that aren't pictured that go with it. Enough to make 2 lap quilts, so I am going to make one for myself and one for my church's auction. I got this book for Christmas, "Simply Charming" and as soon as I saw the cover I knew I wanted to use this material that I had in my stash for it! Don't you think this fabric will make great flowers?
